A villainous energy company decided it would be more cost effective to throw away their radioactive waste deep in sewers of New York, causing an army of once peaceful grubs to contort in unnatural ways. The grubs have now become aware and will stop at nothing to seek out those who have turned them into the monsters they now are.
This is merely the first of two waves which will crawl out onto the streets of New York, and possibly your fridge.
